Morbid Luminosity – (Finally) Available

It’s finally here! YAY!

After months of cursing Word and fighting with formatting, I have finally released my first poetry collection in ebook format. (Paperback coming as soon as I can work with Amazon to figure out that formatting.)

To celebrate, I am having a sale. Who doesn’t love a sale?

Until 9/15/19, you can get Morbid Luminosity for $0.99 for Kindle. Or, you can read for free on KindleUnlimited.

I have no idea how to market anything so I am testing all the waters to see what works. It is both terrifying and exciting.

Thank you all who read my babbling on this blog and who have helped along the way with your comments. I appreciate each and every single one of you.

Cover for Morbid Luminosity

Following a few really bad ideas and even worse graphic designs, I finally hit on a great idea and a decent graphic design.

After a friend sent me a photo, that he will not be receiving credit for, the cover finally came together. Now this is a totally different concept from my original idea, but, in my opinion, the cover represents the poems in this collection.

(Even if the new concept created more work for me, which is why he isn’t getting a photo credit.)

(He is getting a dedication so he should be happy!)

So, after months of agony, cursing Word and hexing my graphics program, I present to you: The Kindle and Paperback Cover for Morbid Luminosity.

Stay tuned for release dates and other fun stuff.

Marvel: Universe of Super Heroes Photos

I recently visited the Franklin Institute to see the Marvel Exhibit. Being a huge superhero film fan and sort of comic book fan (I only read Daredevil) I knew it would fun. The exhibit is full of props from the movies, sketches, photos, and first edition comics. Marvel is celebrating its 80th anniversary and the exhibition showcases their history and solidifies their place in Pop Culture. Here a few photos I was able to take. Enjoy. And, if you get a chance to visit Philadelphia, make sure to visit

Update on Poetry Collection

I did it!

I don’t know how I did it, but the formatting for the poetry collection is finally set…and set correctly.

It took a lot of work and there was much cursing at Word, but I did it. Just don’t ask me how I did it because I can’t help ya.

(It’s kinda like David Lynch’s film, Lost Highway. I understood it while I was watching it but I cannot explain it to save my life!)

So, hopefully, the collection will be out within a few months. The title has gone through a change, it is no longer Angst: A Poetry Collection. As much as I loved that concept, I was having issues with the cover and the cohesiveness of the book. Then someone gave me an even better idea and I ran with it. I promise I will post cover art within the next few weeks.

My plan is to update everyone on the process as I now format for paperback and self publish on Amazon and other platforms.

Since I am boycotting Netflix (see this post) I have tons of free time so expect more poetry, rants, and babbling.

Thank everyone for reading.

Back To Posting

Hey everyone!

I have been away too long – busy with writing, editing, formatting, the full-time job, going to the movies…that about sums up my live right now.

Just to let y’all know, I have Endgame tickets for opening night and I cannot wait.

Don’t let anyone tell you that formatting for self-publishing is easy. I have been at it for a year but I refuse to pay for it, so I will figure it out.

My plan is to post here and on Instagram more frequently. I would like to publish Angst: A Poetry Collection and the short read, Waiting In Line by the end of the summer.

That means I have a lot of work ahead of me, but I do want to stop by here and post once a week even it’s just an update on what I’ve been up to.

So, HI!!!! I’m back. I will also get back to reading and commenting on all the amazing blogs I follow and who follow me.

I may have anther Video of the Month coming soon too!
